August 24-30, 2008Ok, this week was beyond busy. Back to school week with a couple of extras thrown in is what I call this week. So...here is what my week was like. (I really meant to have pics of my classroom, but kept forgetting to take them, so maybe next week!)
Tuesday started with a full day workshop on PLCs. This is my former student teacher, but now new third grade teacher! Yahoo for Melissa!
By Wednesday, I needed this.
and this, but....
I waited until Friday...Sally & I snacked and drank.
Then we grabbed another drink and hit the road to get our toes "purtied up".
Sally is an excellent driver (she had only a very short small drink and lots of food before driving).
We arrived to find "Lily-Boy" ready to work on our feet. (Lily's husband of "Nails by Lily", sassy name compliments of Sally) Doesn't he just look pleased to see us?
We settled in and prepared for a nice soak and massage.

We asked why Lily-Boy was using this on Sally's crusty lovely toes...he said it makes them look perfect, as in cuticle perfection I think....

Umm....did I mention Sally got nail polish in her hair? Yeah...don't ask...maybe it had to do with the fact that we'd had a couple drinks...but Lily-Boy promptly fixed it up for her.
