First Day of School!!!

So today is the first day of school. (I'm actually writing this the night before and am excited, but nervous...normal) Today we had inservice and an open house. I got to meet 9 of my new students talk about keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-------------uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute! (that's cute) Seriously...I could not believe their excitement for first grade. It just got me all jazzed up for the year!!! So bring it on, let 'em come.

It'll be fun.

I finally gave Lori her loot for winning my giveaway....took me long enough!! She assures me she'll be blogging about it and holding her own giveaway, it may just be a while, which I completely understand. Her dad is dying. Like fast. Keep her in your prayers. She'll also be with me tomorrow for the first day of school. She's the bravest person I know!!!!

So....if Lori dies before me, I'll totally make the trek to Disneyworld to help spread her ashes!! I'm assuming she'd prefer me to blow them from the top of the Everest ride, so that is how I'll do it. I'll probably sing a little song too....probably something tasteless and cheap and raunchy. Cuz that is just how I am and Lori loves me anyway. (and so does her darling hubby)

So, congrats to Lori! (now she has to have her own giveaway!!!) I'm soooooooo totally going to just take a picture of her when I give her the goods (oh man, I gotta get on that)! And finally....today is not an official workday, but I'm treating it as such. My goal is to also hit the gym today. I Got Blog Bling!

Yeah baby, I got me some sweet blog bling compliments of Jane. Seriously, go check out this post. Notice how sweetly she talks about me, unlike some of my "friends". hee hee...peggy if you're reading this, which you're probably not cuz peggy doesn't do blogs. I know. Sick.
So you may have also noticed how Jane had a bunch of rules of stuff I was supposed to do. Yeah right. Like I follow anyone's rules. So, if you want me to award you blog bling, you just leave it in the comments section and I'll send it your way!!

I made blueberry freezer jam last night. Talk about yummy and easy! I put it on my toast this morning...success!! I've got more berries, so I may be making another round of it today. Maybe I need to throw some bread into the bread machine too, that would go well with the jam. Or maybe some cheesecake....the list goes on...
