So it's back to first graders is it. Yes, you will be busier for the next nine months. Me, I'm retired from teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades after 30+ years. I do sub and tutor, but that is soooo different than being the one in charge day in and day out. I hope you have a great year --- I think there are 20 students out there who are very lucky to have you. :)

Aw, yay for 1st graders, though. They are so cute at that age.

My mom went back to tutoring ESL middle schoolers this week, and my husband went back to substituting and getting a teaching certificate last week. School is in full swing! Loved your haiku about it.

I loved your haiku about school. I too think my blog is going to suffer now that school has started.

I also just paid sports registration fees for BOTH kids. One will play soccer (and hubby will be assistant coach) and one will play kickball (and hubby will be head coach and I will be assistant coach).

Yikes . . . when am I going to have time to be on the coputer at all??? LOL

We are still in the pre-school years here! (My oldest is two)

So it will be awhile before school days means anything to us! Enjoy the kiddies.
