Ok, so after spending the better part of the day as a "mall rat" with my good friend Liane I fell in love with many bags. This doesn't happen to be one of them, but is very similar to one I saw. When I win the lottery, I will own this lovely Versace Patent Shopper, for the bargain price of $2790.00.Dear God, $2790.00 is more than I bring home each month. It could feed a family for a year...but many people have these bags. Kind of makes me sad when I think about it like that.
What do you think? What is too much to spend on a bag? Do you buy the knock offs? I guess I just don't get it. Maybe there is a celebrity out there that will read my post and think, oh...it's a poor teacher. She's donated her life to education young children. I think I'll send her this bag (or one very similar to it).
Ok, clearly I'm off topic. So...what do you think?

I don't spend much at all on my purses/pocketbooks, (whatever ya call them!) I usually shop the sales and/or TJMaxx and rarely spend over $20.
My $30 Prada handbag knock off told me to tell you that $2790 is too much to spend on a bag. She says you should go to NYC and find a guy selling bags out of a pillowcase and get one there. A trip to New York costs less than that freakin' bag!
That being said, I'm in LOVE with an $800 Coach bag. Her name is Francine, but I like to call her Frankie. I will keep right on dreamin'...
I'm the wrong one to ask...but I do frequent the handbag parties and the flea market! I have some very good fakes (maybe some hot reals, I don't ask questions) and rarely pay more than $40 for them...
If I won mega millions I'd allow myself 1 just 1 uber expensive bag.
